voxeljet AG's innovative 3D printing systems are enjoying rapidly
growing demand even outside the German-language markets. The machines
can be used to generate plastic models for investment casting or plastic
functional components without patterns directly from the CAD data
record. "The significant advantages of our high-speed 3D printers are
persuasive worldwide. We have now delivered two complete systems to the
U.K. and Korea, successfully furthering our expansion strategy,"
rejoices voxeljet CEO Dr. Ingo Ederer.
One of the systems went to Hoseo University in Korea. It is a VX500
complete system, consisting of a VX500 standard printer, a finishing
cabin and a powder preparation system. Equipped with the powerful
system, the university plans to offer its services to small and
medium-sized companies as a provider of design models and metal-casting
models.
The second complete system went to Global TCT Limited in Essex, U.K. The
English firm ordered a brand-new VX500 HD
high-performance system for its range of services. The high-definition
version of the 3D printing system, which was recently presented by
voxeljet, can generate plastic models with unprecedented resolution and
precision. For Kevin Smith of Global TCT, the new VX500 HD arrived at
the right time. "We want to offer the best available technology to our
customers, who include auto manufacturers as well as architects and
artists. With the VX500 HD, we can produce top-quality functional and
casting patterns in a very short time. Our customers appreciate this
competitive advantage as much as we do."
