FRIEDBERG,Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--By investing in two new 3D printers, voxeljet is expanding the capacity
of the company's service centre, which is among Europe's largest
operations for the on-demand production of sand moulds and functional
models made of plastic. "We are adding two high-performance printers to
our current machinery fleet to meet increasing demand. We want to
continue to provide our customers with reliable service that meets their
requirements, in addition to offering short lead times and a high level
of quality", says voxeljet CFO Rudolf Franz.
The addition of two printers, a VX1000 and a VXC800, not only increases
capacities but also provides a needs-appropriate optimisation of build
space dimensions. The VX1000 is voxeljet's newest generation
high-performance printer that offers excellent printing quality and
covers a broad spectrum of services thanks to its large build space,
which measures 1060 x 600 x 500 millimetres.
The VXC800 is the world's first continuously operating 3D printer. It
establishes a completely new generation of machines that allows the
building and unpacking process steps to run at the same time, without
having to interrupt the operations of the system. The system supports
virtually any mould length, with a build space width of 850 mm and a
height of 500 mm. The two machines ensure that the voxeljet service
centre is operating with state-of-the-art equipment.
